THE SWILLEYS DARED TO LIVE THEIR DREAM
For years their mission has been clear, their relentless
passion is to help build better relationships in all areas
of living. The guiding philosophy of the Swilleys is growing
a better future for those who attend their sessions, listen
to their CDs or join them on their web site.

They teach attendees how to go from intentions to reality.
Their strategies and tactics learned from years of weekly
teaching and study has found wide acceptance. They cause
people to recognize and rethink complex relationships in the
four major areas of life - physical, financial, relational
and spiritual.
Since 70% of divorces have a root cause of money they deal
with this area from their own successful example. They have
put these financial principles and planning they teach into
practice that has produced a successful life for them.
They believe every relationship is unique and must be
customized through trial and error. To do this they insist
that everyone must be sensitive to each other's needs. "if
it doesn't work quit doing it if it does keep doing it."
The Swilleys believe that 95% of the need for counseling
would be eliminated if people would get some CDs, good books
and the best book you'll find is the Bible, sit under some
good teaching then get on your knees and allow God’s Spirit
to direct them.
From a long successful marriage and ministry along with two
sons, Duane and Mark who started a ministry in Miami that
now has over one thousand members. They believe they can
speak with confidence and authority on building strong
relationships.
Wherever they go whether it's a business convention with
Charles Stanley or Zig Ziglar, one of
America's top motivational
speakers, or a small country church the results are the same
- the people respond.
Dr. Paul Walker, says, "As a life time friend and pastor for
36 years I can recommend Wallace and Ernestine as a
committed dedicated couple with a desire to strengthen all
relationships."
A feature article in the Atlanta
Journal called the Swilleys one of
America's marriage and family
motivators. Their presentations are motivational,
inspirational and informational. It is very obvious they
enjoy what they do.
Millions go to bed every night with wounds that won’t bleed
and hurts that won’t heal feeling that no one cares and
tomorrow will just be more of the same. The Swilleys are
committed to building better futures for every one.
Ministry to the family is a “basic function of the church"
For that reason they believe the family is the number one
mission field in the world today.
They speak to the purpose of God
for this generation and for the generations to come.
The questions the Swilleys ask are – what will we do? How
will we respond? Will we show that we care? Will we use the
opportunity God is giving us? If we don’t then who will?
They contend until we reach out
corporately and individually nothing will change in our
churches, schools and society. The sad thing for many
tomorrow may be too late. They issue a passionate call for
action in every appearance.
They believe their task is unfinished and they are excited
about the future.

BACKGROUND
Both Wallace and Ernestine parents were pastors
and church leaders. They were both very active in the
father’s churches. Both were eighteen when they met and
married shortly thereafter. For several years they served
as pastor and then Youth and Christian Education leader for
several hundred churches in
Georgia
and Ohio.
Following that they resigned and began to travel as a
family.
For many years Wallace and Ernestine, along with
their sons Duane and Mark, were known as the “Singing
Swilley Family” with Ernestine on the piano, Duane on the
base and Mark on the drums they provided a sound that would
set your heart to dancing. They recorded over 100 songs on
9 albums (CDs). They co-hosted their own TV show that
originated in the studios of WMAZ the CBS outlet in
Macon
GA and was shared with other stations
through out the southeast.
During this time Duane and Mark began to build
one of the largest youth ministries in
America
called Alpha that reached an average attendance of 1,500
every Monday night. The church they worked in exploded from
300 to over 12,000.00 members.
This demanded a change in Wallace and Ernestine’s
presentations. They began to put all their efforts in
helping people build better futures by teaching about
relationships their risk and potential. Their appearances
have taken them around the world.
In the mid nineties Duane with his family and
Mark left the church they were with and moved to Miami and
began a new church with only four people besides Duane, Mark
and Sunny (Duane’s wife) and their kids. A Place Called
Hope has grown at this point to over a thousand members.
Their children Joshua, (Keren Joshua’s wife) Joan and Esther
now lead in the areas of worship, dance and drama.
